I have a 1990 998cc Mini  RHD with 2 engine steadies left and right that bolt to the rear of the sub frame and one topside on the right, engine to bulkhead. I have done a little research and what i have found out is that in 1990 they repositioned the engine a little bit and installed a forward mounted steady on the sub frame.  It looks like at one time my car had this. Should i put it back to stock or is what i have on my Mini ok? Thanks guys.       Gary

As above,

these sound like the aftermarket kits below have been added in place of the usual bottom one ( which can break away from the subrframe)

If you need to replace any of the bushes I would advise the MPI ones, as they last much better, to fit them in the bottom stabilizers you will need to drill the hole out bigger though.

The rears were standard and earlier than the front one that, as above broke things.

if they are there keep them.
