Hi, I've just joined The Mini Forum and wanted to introduce myself.
I've been an avid reader of posts on The Mini Forum for a year or two now and thought it was high time I joined properly. Hopefully I will have a few things to add and discussions to join in with.
I'm about half way through restoring an old Mini Cooper S MKII back to its former glory. I have to confess it has been a long time in coming as I've owned the car since 1985. That said, I did have a lot of fun with it back in my younger days but then other things in life took over and it got stored for 25 years and so got buried under stuff at the back of a garage. Anyway, the restoration is well under way now.
I'm a member of the Mini Cooper Register and have been for quite some time.
I'll post some pictures and start or join in with a few posts shortly.
