hi  back again , just sorting out wiring before dash goes back in , got side  light & indicators working but nothing from headlights yet , metered the cabling at the headlight end & no voltage.

Does the dash have to be in ? also any ideas what someone has done here ?

looks like someone had used a switch socket or relay socket for wiring something .

Lastly whats the relay for ?

thanks in advance !

Can't quite make out the text, but if it's summet times 21w it suggests it's for indicators - possibly a towing relay as it looks ike tandem diagrams?
