Feeling like an idiot here because I have done it before!

Can anyone please help me find the screw which alters the mixture? They made it really weak to get it through the MOT.

Until I find it, is there anything wrong with just keeping the choke out a notch or two?

Have tried to upload photos but can't work out how to reduce the file size!

Thanks very much!

Keeping the choke out will cause the engine to run rich, the mixture adjustment is on the left hand side (as viewed standing, looking from front of car). Its at an angle faced towards the bulkhead

Just under the fuel inlet pipe, remember screw it in to richen the mixture.

It'll adjust the mixture under all conditions not just idle - it lowers the jet same as the nut (and choke) on a HS. Unlike a HS, Hifs have a totally separate choke, designed to enrich more at idle & part throttle.
