The point is the current coils listed as gcl 143 usually have a primary resistanc rod 0.9ohm. recipe for early module failure. The engine also generate less part throttle torque.

Spotted a 1.5 Ohm Ballast Accuspark Ignition Coil on a FaceBook Market Place (brand new). Would this be ok to use?
I believe it’s this one.

If it is actually 1.5 ohms when you actually measure it, then Tess it will be fine.

Just picked up the AccuSpark Blue Ballast 1.5 Ohm Ignition Coli from the post office. 

Got it for a tenner.

 

I'll test it with my multimeter, after the mad season, when I get a spare 10 minutes  :-)
