I've been using lithium based ep grease. Should I be using moly grease?

The EP Grease should be fine, but a Moly Grease would be better.

Don't ever use Moly Grease in the Upper Arm or Trailing Arms though. Moly Grease is a disaster with bearings that have rolling elements.

I * think * this is why the factory recommend a general purpose grease, to avoid confusion.
