I just rebuiilt one of those MC for my Inno. Be very careful when taking it apart, if it feels stuck in any way NEVER EVER TWIST OR ROTATE  it. The two pistons are connected by a metal loop which is not replaceable. If it does not move just leave it to soak in penetrating oil try again, if not soak some more and leave it.

You can buy all the seals in a kit from MiniSpares http://minispares.co...px|Back to shop

Here's the extract from the parts book showing the exploded diagram of the MC. you will need some long narrow circlip pliers to get to them and be careful not to damage or score the bore of the MC as you remove them.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

At least 15 years sat still. It moves, but thinking of the seals etc.

My A35 just got pulled out the garage for the first time in over 40 years yesterday .. I haven't tried the brakes as I'm not sure the fronts have brake shoes in there so the pistons would just pop out if I got any pressure!! ... also I found four shoes in the boot! The rears are mechanical anyway but a quick look underneath didn't look fruitful ..

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, the privious own put in a bigger tank. First time registered 72 here in Norway.

As for the front / rear, yes it is. i was mixing up with my brothers 76. There we had to swap pipes when we put discs and servo on or it would only brake diagonally :-)

How hard is it to service this MC? Been sitting for a long time.

Rebuild kits are available, but an old MC can be a pain. I have a rebuilt MC If you need one.
