so what are the thin O rings for.

the small thick ones are the gearbox to block seals but the thinner bigger ones?

I think they're for that shift linkage bung thing in the bottom of a rod change box. Never had anything other than remote boxes so not 100% certain.

as above - could be the outer dizzi seal / o ring

forgotten by most - including me

what are the copper compression washers you sometimes get in a full gasket set ?

I can't ever remember fitting them in 35 years of messing with mini's ?

I'd have said dizzy seal.

I don't think rod change selector seal comes in any sets and you'd know if you'd bought that many!

As above ,I just changed one for the first time the other day and I have done several boxes before :shy:

Someone once told me the copper washer is used when the block is mounted in  a longitude intsall like a Morris Minor.

The thin O rings look like the seal that fits around the aluminium 'washer' around the rod change behind where the standar type oil seal sits. I've replaced a couple of those rather than buy a new seal kit.
