Thanks Graeme

Sounds like it but being brand new a couple of months ago, I was ruling it out plus I cant see anything.

If the plain blue wire comes up the column to the stalk and then there is a blue and red wire that I have tapped into, which coloured wire from the stalk is the main beam?

Thanks

Andrew

I agree Gazza but couldn't see that colour in the wiring loom going up or down to the steering column. :0

That's what I am finding, must be another colour.

I can see the four separate inline fuses with the correct colours but behind the dash only

check the multiplug connector on the main loom that the steering column loom connects to - find the blue/white wires and you can match it up against what's on the steering column side connector

Found it :)
Was a faulty new indicator stalk. There was no connection or current going between the thick blue wire on the stalk to the plate where the contacts make.
Now soldered and all working
Just goes to show that although new, doesn't mean to say it's faulty
Thanks for everyone's advantage advice
Cheers
Andrew

I recently had a brand new one blow the horn section off for no apparent reason.

It was easy enough to repair, though.
