"This kit allows you to add the finishing touch to your replica of Mk1 or Mk2 with aluminium dummy hinges.
On an open or closed door, this kit keeps an appearance consistent with the original hinges.

The larger rear most hinge slides on a protective cover over the door skin."

I bought some resin ones from Japan although they look good on the car the spring mechanism is not the best and just doesny spring back into place.. like to see how these ones work

Has anyone here purchased these and if so, what do you think of them? Can't tell what the inner workings are made from, and how well they are made.
