Hi TMFers,

I wondered whether anyone who is Bristol based can recommend a garage in Bristol (ideally BS6 or BS7 ish) who will actually be able to adjust the timing and mixture on my 1988 A series lump with stage one kit and (aftermarket) electronic ignition? It seems to defeat most garages that otherwise get good recommendations :(

Thanks ever so much - please help me it's driving me insane!

Slark racing isn't too far away, he has a rolling road.

Thanks - didn't realise he did servicing and stuff as well as rolling road - may go there in the future.

At the minute I need something more on my side of Bristol (Horfield / Bishopston area) so I can limp my appallingly set up mini there :( any other suggestions very welcome.

Interesting, has anyone on here used the restoration side of his business?

So Neil and Ian Slark are now in the same place. Both can tune engines, but it’s Neil’s specialism and he has a rolling road. Ian and his guys are classic car restoration. I’ve used him, and them, and would recommend them highly. You can see their work in my threads.
