Long time since ive used any sort of forum but having recently started up a restoration business I want to start doing build diarys in the proects section, I used to use photobucket but not since they started charging, so whos good for picture hosting these days?

Personally i now use Imgur as do a lot of other members on here.

 

Its free and quite versatile to use. Photobucket has created a huge chunk of work of out IT guru as the majority of the build threads on here used that hosting platform.

Add your images to whatever folder you decide to call it.

 

Then click on the picture you want to post.

 

A drop down will appear on the right hand side with various links etc. The one you need to click on is 

 

BBCode (message boards & forums)

 

Click copy and that then automatically copies it for you and then all you need to do is post on your build thread etc.

Job done.

One word of warning is that Imgur is not user friendly for hosting image off your mobile phone. It’s fine off a laptop etc using its desktop site.... unless it’s just me ?

I use flickr that is easy to use and free.

That's absolutely fine with me, im a dinosaur, trying to do anything much more technical than browsing on a mobile just winds me up!
