Found this Nikki carb lurking at the back of my garage. Have had a look online and the best match I can see from comparing photos is that it is for a Mini (& other Austin models). Unfortunately I can't upload the pics direct as they're too big, but you can see them via this link https://drive.google...q8CM1in1k3zBXA 

 

Could anyone verify whether this is actually a Mini carb, or something else...? I can take & upload more photos if needed. Any advice gratefully received! Thanks, Rebecca

had a nikki twin choke on my mini 1000 in 1978 ish good carb with a float sightglass , use imgur for uploading photos its free to use nikki twin choke pic

you could have it rejetted for 1100/1300 x flow ford engines too

so, have determined it is the model that was retro-fitted to Minis, but does anyone know which vehicles it was originally made for? Datsun maybe?
