Britain's car buyers have a love affair with SUVs right now.

Sales of jacked-up sports utility vehicles continue to grow at a faster rate than any other segment, as more Britons see the appeal of a greater view of the road ahead, more demanding presence on the street and feeling of increased safety and security.

But consumer group Which? says there are plenty of reasons not to buy an SUV.  Five, in fact...

The largest SUVs on the market right now are so obnoxiously huge they're just not practical outside of a country estate.

Can't fit in parking bays, can't fit down narrow streets, can barely see around the bloody thing when it's lane hogging on the motorway.

Surely it's time for a seperate tax to account for the extra burden placed on the rest of the public by wazzocks that feel the need to drive these monsters.
