Pedal Box

Trying to rebuild my 1985 mini after smash. Been striped for 7 years now got body back together and sprayed, but noticed brake pedal is about an 1" higher than the clutch pedal.striped down pedal box and clutch and brake master cylinder. Can't find anything bent need some advice.

The brake pedal does sit higher than the clutch pedal on these pedal boxes.

Have you filled the clutch and brake MC's with fluid yet? They just naturally flop about at their own height until you do

No have not filled with fluid yet, haven't got that far . still trying to put all the interarea back  Thank for the help. will keep you posted how the rebuild goes.

The pedal height did change as there were some cases of the pedal bottoming out when the disc brakes were introduced.

Hi purchased a master cylinder reseal kit for yellow tag MC but the seals are different sizes and don't fitt the top plunger. All the stockiest tell me that's the right one for 1985 yellow tag and it should be a stepped bore but mine is parallel. Dose any one no the kit I need and part no if possible please.
