Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a L/H duct to be fitted behind the grille for a non-injection Mini and the accompanying air hose?

It is to take fresh air through to the passenger side vent. At the moment I just have hot air blowing in from the engine!

The usual website/shops don't seem to stock them...

Thanks,

E.

Thanks MiddletoM.

I contacted Somerford and they don't stock the duct either. They say it is no longer available/obsolete.

Any other leads? Or perhaps a workaround?

Thanks,

E

Try car builder solutions for the hose/pipe, and possibly the other parts needed

You can get all sizes of ducting flexible or rigid plastic on eBay.

I bought mine (pre-loved) from a trader at Himley.

Try mini dismantlers.

Good luck

I needed a piece of duct for the driver side and found some corrugated drain pipe at a hardware store that worked well. Perhaps you could find something that is meant for a different purpose that will work for you?

I used to buy all sorts of hoses from RS at my old job. Whatever size you could think. Prices were not so awesome though

Sorry to hijack but do they still put the foam inside these pipes ? I’ve got a driver side one fitted with no foam in it it’s the one from the air scoop to the heater box

Thanks for all your help!

I managed to find an intake on ebay and a hose (with foam) at Bingley Hall so all sorted.

Don’t suppose you could measure the thickness of the foam could you ?
