The kit looks good, brass/bronze bushing should help.
Poke the unions through the back plate so you can hold them still and turn the slave cylinders if the pipe is seized in the union.

Anyone had any experience with these?

I repaired my front brakes with this set. Wity the big nut you can adjust the "friction" of the excenter, These nuts has some kind of "self-locking" shape. The excenter has a 1/4" ( I think) square end for adjust the brake pads - just as the originals.
br1.jpg br2.jpgAh nice, looks good. Did you have to drill out the old ones and tap the threads to fit them or did you just manage to unscrew them somehow?
There is no thread in the brake plate where the adjusters are. It is just a hole. A snap ring holds the excenter in its place. You shouls remove that ring ad it will fall out.
In the repair kit you'll find a sleeve which holds the new excenter. I have a repair kit for sapre, next time I'll take a picture to you.

Hi, Mk1s had identical front and rear brakes - single leading shoe. I replaced the front with the later (twin leading shoe) backplates with the later type adjuster. I noticed a considerable difference (improvement) in brake function.

Hi,
I think that was only until 1964, the later MK1's had twin leading shoes on the front the same as all later drum braked minis until they went to front discs around 1984
