I’m really tempted by this kit for my 998, especially when you read on his Facebook account, 90bhp from a 998, it’s the concerns about charge temperatures that stops me, read differing opinions on the effectiveness of the charge cooler.

I doubt ill ever drill mine for a boost guage, but if i go ill get a PT100 RTD in there since they fit in 6mm push fit fittings

A true chargecooler (tube-type like a typical radiator) is very questionable in a VMAX SCART type setup. They run the supercharger wet (fuel is added to air ahead of the supercharger instead of after it.)

If you installed a traditional type chargecooler, it would be filled with air and fuel mixture when running. If there's a backfire, there could be a lot more than just a popping sound...

to be honest - the weber kit runs fine. You just need an aux electric fan off an spi and cold air supply to air filter. Heat is not much of an issue

with this kit you can't fit an intercooler as its suck through. So worring about air/fuel mixture in an intercooler is a moot point

Just do it. Bang for buck it's hard to beat.

I stand corrected replacing speedo cable today found a 4mm push fit coming from the rear under one of the I guess you’d call rotors , will get a gauge on it and have a look at boost pressures.
