Good morning all,

First of all sorry if what I write is not always correct because I am obliged to use a translator.
I speak French normally, but since there is very little info on Mini Pickups on the continent, I come to say hello.

It's not my 1st Mini, it's already my fourth.
I have a 998cc coach from 1989, a Coutryman from 1966 in perfect condition and I already have the car to restore after the pickup: a Cooper 998 from 1965.

I bought a pickup from 1979 a year and a half ago.
The restoration is almost finished, here are some pictures:

I improved it a little compared to the origin.
I converted it to RHD, fit twin carbs HS2, I put disc brakes in 7.5 and a mk3 servo brake

Now, I would like to install a tilt cover.
I bought everything at Somerford, but I don't understand where this piece is fixed:

Can someone help me?

Big thanks

I can't help with that part but that's a beautiful looking pick up.  I used to have one and miss it a lot, it didn't have the factory tilt though.

Stunning pick up! Love the upgrades that you did, disc brakes, a booster and those twin carbs are awesome!

Nice pick-up !!

i think the catches fit behind the rain channel at the bottom of the b-posts

There's not many images showing exactly how they fit, but here's one I found
