Hi I've got an 1984 mini Mayfair 998cc auto.

can anyone tell me what colour/code it is?

 

its like a light blue but almost looks metallic up close...

If its the original colour then the paint code should be on the bottom left of the VIN/Chassis plate.

My VIN plate was rivited to the inside of the offside inner wing, but you may have to do a search for it as they get moved from time to time.

 

If its not the original colour then any paintshop should be able to identify and mix up a near perfect match and then give you the colour code for that particular mix, so in the future just quote that code and it should be consistant.

I asked my 2 year old he said "light blue" give that a go.
