I'm going to have a crack at replacing the knackered pipes on both ERA Turbo and MG Metro inlet manifolds because folks have asked me whether it's possible. I actually don't know but it's probably doable?
Been loaned a couple to have a look at (which is much appreciated!)
Anyone else managed to replace the pipes on either?
I think the pipes are fabricated onto their manifolds in a different way to the SPI inlet manifolds I'm used to but we'll see I guess.
Aim is to be able to replace them with stainless or brass pipes like the SPI inlet manifold (bottom picture).
