Nice.

But if you'd put in all that effort why would you not do something to cover up that ugly gear check mechanism?

Exactly, surely it’s an easy and cheap fix.

These cars tend to sit unsold, my theory is that perhaps people with £20k to blow on a specific spec like this, they do it themselves or pay someone to do it and choose exactly how they want to.

I guess there’s a buyer for everything at the right price!

Nice.

I'll be surprised if the sold price was anything near that. I'd say £12-13k however you just never know with highly modified minis!

I followed this builder/car on Instagram and it certainly was an impressive build with no expense spared. I thought the interior was stunning. I forgot about it after shunning Instagram in a moment of grumpy-old-man syndrome. I'm amazed that people can part with cars like this after putting so much heart and soul (and cash) into them, but I suppose the next project is always looming.

Dare say you are spot on with that reasonable valuation Steve, though I'm sure it has cost a lot more than that. Such is life. How does the saying go...… "my biggest fear is that I die suddenly and my wife sells all of my projects for the amount I told her I paid for them"...….

My girlfriend (luckily) knows ? I told her to strip the car and sell it for parts if I die early!
