65k miles   whats it worth please this  isnt a for sale post  ive been offered a whole car [which i need for all those lil bits and peices  glass doors winders ect ect] auto subbie [1988] will start run lovely but i dont need the engine or subframe need to know what i should ask  as that will have an impact on what i pay for the car to use the bits i need i havent sold mini parts in over twenty five years so out of touch really with current going rates especially being an auto  less desirable? and ebay is like throwing a stone in a pond with the varying prices even for the same motor if this goes against the rules just delete it  not trying to tread on anyones toes

Not a lot 100 150 maybe people don’t want autos so you can pick them up

Depends on condition to be honest if its rotten then £2-300 and if mint then 2-3000

There are now a lot more engines lurking in sheds than Minis on the road.

 

I don't want to depress you, but the last 1300 auto engine that I acquired, I was paid £20-00 cash to take away.

not depressing at all t thats why i asked here you get the right info  the two cant rails and b posts that i need as an example are worth the askin price for the car alone but would want to shift the motr and subframe on as its heavy and takes a lot of room and is awkwad to shift around

They'll have a good idea what its worth and you might find a buyer there.

thats cool thanks for that  ive bought it anyhow the full interior and clocks can go along with the engine box and brakes lol

yes very strange isnt it with the rest of it being solid i have no idea how just that area rotted out
