Different Gearboxes

I've got two mini engines with two different gearboxes and want to know if there is any real difference between them, can anyone tell me?? The numbers are A/BZ3 BC DAM5626 andA/BZ4 BC&M DAM 5626. Thankd

Are you wanting to know if you can swap an engine to another gearbox ?

I'm planning on putting straight cut gears in one of the boxes and using it on a 1275. Just wasn't sure if one would be better to use than the other. Thanks

You'd be best off stripping both. There are plenty of bits that don't come in a straight cut set that you'll need to reuse or replace.
