Hi, where abouts should the chassis plates, vin and commission plates be on a mk2 cooper?

My early mk2 has the chassis plate vin on the top of the radiator shroud, the FE number above the radiator shroud on the inner wing and the commission plate is on the drivers inner wing close to where you hook the bonnet stay in.

Later mk2`s have the commission plate on the bonnet slam.

Cheers for the info. Was there another chassis vin plate anywhere else on the shell?

There is a body number on the slam panel and another number tag on front floor, these are commonly lost when repairs are completed. Most are not recorded on the heritage cert.
