Chaps, just bumping this thread as have one more question - there is a 1992 Cooper for sale (left hand drive, export) that I'm thinking of buying - I have read that a Stage One Kit is the easiest way to improve the performance of a car by ~20% or so.
I rang a couple of mini specialist garages in France and they said that the Stage One Kit can't be added to the '92 Cooper - apologies if this is a ridiculous question but is that correct?
All information much appreciated.
