Does anyone know the engine paint code for red which a 1990 Rover Cooper 1275 engine is painted?

I found my book "Original Mini Cooper and Cooper S" by John Parnell, and it says;

"The normal red engine finish is a wax treatment rather than conventional paint".

Maybe there is not a paint code after all!?

@MatthewsDad, I presume Roger is rated to John?
