How bad is pattern vs heritage bonnets. I've nothing at the front of my car except inner wings. New half inner are to be fitted soon so I need bonnet to help line things up. Are pattern ones really bad the price of bonnets seem expensive ethier way.

Have seen other people's posts and people have managed but to how much hassle I'm not sure.

Thanks

I've followed both your projects and you managed but have said use heritage every time. Must be your skills that made it look do able for all.

Really NOT worth the hassle pattern ones???

Project Erm was a pain as you could see what I had to do there. Since then I have fitted Heritage to my clubby and the fit was good. Yes I did have some issues to start with but that was down to poor finish of the first bonnet. The second was much better.

When I fitted the Heritage front end to Wills Mini Special, his original bonnet fitted perfectly. So after hearing of other folks having issues unless my budget had a serious impact on what I could afford then it would be Heritage every time

Due to funds I had to use patterned panels they are a bugger but okay I just couldn't afford the heritage price sadly as it would have saved a lot of time

Exactly I wish I had saved more it was partly budget and partly excitement at begging my project. Its rough in all places but have now learnt myself what I should have done first time round
