Hi I've rejoined this forum after a spell away.I'm using a new username (formally Johnpaul) and I've got a new email address and phone contact number.I'm still wanting to build a tuner automatic due to a left leg problem I've got to drive one now and as an added bonus I need to find a van or a clubman estate for my mobility scooter.
I like the idea of the map 16v engines but there auto boxes are huge but it's all fun.

There is a gentleman on Youtube by the name of Alex Toon. Due to an accident he uses a wheel chair and drives a Mini van that has had a conversion done to the manual gearbox so that he no longer needs to use the clutch pedal. Perhaps that would be a way to proceed?
I have a dodgy left knee and although I can drive a manual for a short time before it starts to complain I much prefer to drive an auto.The converted manual seems like a good idea and is something that I would look at in the future when I have the funds because I would imagine it ain't cheap to do.
