awesome fab work 3.5 ltr v8 [rover] in a mini love these kind of builds and nice to know ime on the right track with my own project the red outriggers are how ime going to tie the main chassis to my inner cills

All that work for an asthmatic Rover V8?

 

Never have quite grasped why people bother with that boat anchor these days.

i think it was done for a customer at his request  but pretty much ny rwd moto could be fitted  ime going mazda mx5 1.8 turbo only because i picked it up for 75 quid cant beat the noise of a v8 tho

Absolutely, the noise is great especially with carbs.

i had one in a manta gte with an edelbrock carb and open pipe   gave me goosebumps that was i think 4.1 litre from a tvr

I have a 3.5vitesse efi in my mgb roadster for the last 25 years and it has always had more performance than I can use and it sounds terrific,horses for courses and all that.Steve..

I guess if you're willing to look past the issue that the motor is essentially **** then yea I guess it is an icon.
