Trying to work out what changes were made between the MK5 and MK6. So far I’ve found that internal bonnet release was fitted but is that all. I know that engine mount locations were moved to accommodate for 1275 fitment, but isn’t that just a subframes difference. Is there any actual difference between a MK5 body shell (which is a MK4 body shell) and a MK6 body shell.

Yes the read seatbelts are inertia reel and mount into the rear bin. Also if a late spi it will have the 24 blade type fuse box.

The fusebox didn't require any body modifcation ,just self taped onto bulkhead.
