When something is stuck, grab a bigger hammer.

Flywheel was stuck even after a week of letting it sit under pressure including trying to tighten and "shocking" the drive bolt by hitting it with a hammer. So my buddy came over with his larger air compressor and turned up the flow on his Snap On Impact Gun. The flywheel popped right off.

You all are probably right with the thread pitch. Had my thread pitch been more machine grade and finer, I would not need as much torque to drive the screw. However, I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money and found a solution which worked.

Solution for stuck flywheel: more air and turning up the impact.

Glad you got it off, I use my impact wrench on mine too, seems to work well.
