Hi I've recently read codes using memsdiag and can see on the grid view that the lambda sensor is reading 435mv and not moving as I've read others doing so...anybody know if this is normal..cheers

Any time I’ve had mpi / spi minis in and the customers supplies aftermarket sensors they have a static figure genuine Bosch ones fluctuate as they should

That's interesting..theres no misfire or really bad issues with idle...could mot time be a problem tho??..would it be worth fitting a genuine one...

Potentially with regards emissions if the sensor isn’t working

Second what Cian’s saying - he worked on mine with the same issue.  I bought a generic O2 against his advice and had emissions problems and incorrect readings on the sensor.  I did find that the sensor plug had the pins in the wrong place when I was testing it too!!

Anyway, I gave up, bought a genuine Bosch, took it round to Cian’s (he has nice sockets for sensors, a scanner and a good emissions tester).  Hey presto and all good!!!

Took  her to MOT last week and I wasn’t worrying about the emissions for once.

Had trouble with my car a couple of years ago and used memsdiag. My car was stuck in open loop control and the o2 sensor wasn't reading properly. I'd fitted an aftermarket sensor a year or so before and struggled to get it through the MOT, I refitted my original Bosch sensor and everything worked as it should and it sailed through the next MOT
