I have a cam that I briefly used successfully about 30 years ago which I believe is MG Metro / megadyne 266 ish. It has been stored well but I am now trying to check the detailed spec. It is clearly marked KC 5807 and with my limited instruments I measure about 264" lift on the inlet lobe and about 250 lift on the exhaust lobe.
I've tried Kent but not got any joy, so has anyone any thoughts as to which cam this might be and hopefully some additional specification
Thanks

Probably not a 266 grind, as this has more duration and lift on the exhaust lobe than the inlet - as is the case for most (all?) of their Megadyne cams for the A-Series.

If Kent don't recognise the number KC 5807 then you could use a degree wheel and DTI to check the profile, but this is quite a bit of effort.

Thanks for your replies, yes the cam is very clearly marked KC 5807 !
Probably the only way to be certain of the spec is to use a degree wheel and dti as suggested, so will have to wait for a while until I've got a block to use.
Will also have to contact Steve Harris who supplied it way back when.

KC could stand for Keith Calver?

Compare the profiles with those shown here, might help a bit?
