i think you have them on the wrong sides.

Upside down and left on right?cable passes under the arm from the pivot(probably)Steve..

Cable guard is correct, it's the back plates that are incorrect: brake cylinder should be at the bottom with adjuster at the top

I like the colour.............IMHO far too many people paint their subframes black..............it's dark under there at the best of times, if you want to do something.

I have the subframe upside down if that helps......

 

 

No,  sadly that doesn't help.

 

The back plates will have to be taken off and re assembled correctly, but don't worry, we won't tell anyone.

The brake assembly back plates are on the wrong sides - swap them over

Guys, thank you for your advice, I agree the back plates are on the wrong sides, I will swop them over at the weekend. Didn't realise they were side specific, they not marked left or right. Thanks for your help.
