Brooklands Mini Day

From the Brooklands website:-

"We take everyone's health very seriously and we will continue to follow government guidance and requirements about large events. Following the leak on Friday evening, we understand the government will clarify on Monday what size and type of events are going to be banned and we will be following this guidance when it is issued. Where it is practical to, we will postpone events to later in the year rather than cancel them. We will update our website and social media with more information once the situation is clearer. 

As it stands, Brooklands Mini Day will still go ahead unless we are advised otherwise."

(The Volksworld Show at nearby Sandown Park on the same weekend has been postponed until October)

The whole world on shut down

Unfortunately I feel it may be postponed with the way things are going. Things are changing everyday and Brooklands is another week yet. The Government are also supposedly looking to implement a ban on gatherings of over 300 people.

We've cancelled our plans for the event - we were originally staying locally on Saturday night but we're fully expecting it to be called off today so cancelled the hotel and will be staying home.

The Restoration Show at the NEC has been postponed too.

At this rate, the Brooklands 14th June will be off as well.

From the Brooklands Mini Day Webpage. Postponed until Autumn. 

"Following the recent government announcement, we have decided to postpone the Mini Day event until the autumn. 

A new date is yet to be decided, however, all pre-booked tickets will be valid for the new date and individuals will be contacted to let them know when this will be. 

Due to the volume of tickets already sold for the event, it may be a few days before we get in touch with you, so we thank you for your patience and understanding."
