Evening all.

I am doing some repairs to a mini that is eventually to be fitted with arc angels gp2 arches.

for the time being, I am planning to fit the standard black plastic 'special' type arches as fitted at the factory to 12" wheeled cars.

My question Is, will the mounting holes of the arc angels gp2 arches be in the same place as the rover items?

I need to know before drilling the mounting holes because if they don't, then I will not fit the standard arches at this point to avoid having to drill further holes when the time comes for the gp2's

I have emailed arc angels with this question but didn't get a reply..

Cheers

Ben

Not sure you'll get a straight answer on that one Ben, the arches seem so varied. I'd say the chances of the holes matching is slim.

Is it because you're waiting on a delivery time for the gp2's but the owner wants to run the car in the meantime? Could it run archless for a while and risk a little bit of wheel poke?

I have group 2 arches to fit to my project and the holes are different to the standard black arches that were on the car.

Thanks rich.

The plan is to fit the arches in the future so it would mist likely be running for some time prior hence using the standard arches in the meantime.

I half expected there to be differences but just thought I'd ask the question in case they are made to fit the standard mounting points.

Many thanks.

Thanks for that.

I'll go with the expectation that they are different.

My brother got some groupe 2 arches from minispares and the holes where the same as the 'special' plastic arches.
I'll check the origin of the arches if you need.

From my brother:
"These group 2 also wrap under the bumper line most other group 2 stop at bumper seam line.
Dan."
Hope this helps.
