Always been a 1275GT man but I would be lying if an original cooper or cooper s wasn't on my bucket list. Where would be the best place to source one? Is there a specific forum or owners club? There are a lot of new Bini forums but nothing jumps out at the moment.

 

Not looking for a pristine car but would need to be complete and original within reason i.e. engine etc.

Best place used to be the mini cooper register forum. But after massive IT problem that died a death even after it was resurrected. Best place I'd look now is the MK1 forum. That's where everyone seemed to go.

Worth joining the Mini Cooper Register, they have a specific Register for the Mk2 Cooper S sometimes with details of members cars for sale and an excellent monthly magazine with for sale ads too.

There's a few coopers on eBay at the moment. What sort of money are you hoping to spend?
