I will NEVER get so bored that I resort to making jigsaws!

I bet you won't be saying that in 6 months time :D
I'd rather nail my head to the table than do bloody jigsaw!

lol

Not keen on jigsaw puzzles, but I make 1/24 scale model lorries, sometimes professionally...
Here’s an example-lots of scratch building and swearing involved!!
Lower pic is the real vehicle

That is fantastic!

Have you any other pictures of models you have made?

How long approximately would it take to build that from scratch?

Careful, I've found Minis tend to get expensive as they get put back together!

Ha! my problem is I'll finish it by modifying some of the bits 'cause they were clearly wrong and then wondering why I've got some spares left, also I'll have bought loads of shiny tools that I didn't need

It took about 18 months ,just doing a couple of hours in the evening/weekends
The cab isn’t scratch built, that comes in a kit with the chassis, but it’s been quite heavily modified-trailer is mostly scratch built.i was luck I had unlimited access to the real thing for reference as my friend owns it

The blue and white Morris FHK was totally scratch built except for the cab shell which came from a die cast toy-and was a nightmare to build,it was a commission for someone who’s father used to drive the real one-I only had a couple of grainy black and white photos to work from

Not to your standard but here's a couple of models I made in front of one of the cottages my wife made.

Left hand one I made for a friend is a Commer Tourstar and the one on the right is our Commer Jennings Roadranger. Both built on Corgi Chassis cabs.

They are really good and cottage is lovely, was the cottage scratch built or is it a kit?

Shouldn't all these be in "Any Other Projects" section :gimme:

It came as a kit but it's basically a laser cut MDF board. All details have been added using various materials and imagination, she's very artistic my missus. That is one of the simple ones she's done  :proud:
