Don't know what type it is - looks like an early type - but if it's fits on the manifold I don't see why it can't be used.

You will need to adapt the throttle linkage to it. I have some pictures of this as I had one like it for awhile.

You can just barely see the mount for the cable. There is also an extra spring that was added by the previous owner. I replaced the spring around the spindle and removed the extra.
