Hi all, if you have not seen the message on various other platforms, Minispares has now closed it branches so no more counter sales.

However they are taking Phone sales and Online sales.

I wonder which other major Mini shops will be doing the same???

As long as they're doing mail order that's fine isn't it? We're not supposed to be going out!

All retail outlets are required by Gov't edict to close. It is not optional.

On-line sales at many outlets will continue.

They can only continue while the supply chain allows, and then once that reaches a point they will have to close. Although no major effect to us, their employess will suffer depending on their employment status.

Minisport have just announced they are following the GOV policy as are Minispares. There are still shops out there who feel they can get away with it but as a certain well known Sports outlet who tried it on have found to their cost they cannot.

I just wish people would accept this is for EVERYONES health and welfare. BUT no there are still cockwombles out there who feel they are exempt.

I am self employed. Did my last job this morning as it had been booked 2 days ago and they couldn't cook without me going in. . Opened the door wear gloves and a chem mask and told the owners to go to another room. 30 minutes and out.
I am lucky that I have an empty house to work in for the next 2 weeks. I go from my house to the job. Park outside and its empty. Lone working. Luckier than most. But once that's finished I wont be getting 80% of my salary guaranteed that's for certain.
I went to 3 accounts today and they still have branches open. Cant go inside. Service is through the rollover doors but there are big queues. I was quite surprised

Hmm I put an order in on Sunday and it still has "New order" for the status. Thought they may have had to slow down due to the current events, will give them a call tomorrow.

Oh don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting it to be delivered yet (I chose standard courier), just would have thought something would have happened by now.

They could be really busy as we all crack on with those projects now we have plenty of time and probably want to distance ourselves from the rest of the household to prevent a re-enactment of the shining.

Same here. It's amazing what you find you had when you look hard enough. Although i drove to minispares for a head gasket last week only to find I had a genuine payern one hiding away.
