Yet another question, has anyone wired up an Alexander rev counter? I've got a new old stock one, but it has no instructions unfortunately. It's for 6/12v + or - earth. I'm wiring it to a 12v +
It has a + terminal, then -12v and -6v
It also has two random white cables coming out of some square connector block.
Unfortunately it won't let me add photos currently though.
If anyone has any ideas it would be very helpful, thanks in advance.

As a guess, the white "Loop" wires will be for the coil to distibutor feed (uses the pulses to operate the tacho) ..
I'm assuming + to earth if +ve earth and -12v for power ...
I assume you've google'd for it .. someone will have posted up the woring diagram/instructions .. they've posted everything else!!!

I have googled it, but unfortunately nothing specific comes up for this tacho. So the loop wire would connect between the coil and dizzy?
