looks like tweed grey, although it might not be green enough, difficult to tell as it depends on the lighting? I'm sure someone here will know

1965/66 Morris would have originally been painted Dove Grey (paint code = GR26)

.... & that looks like Dove Grey.

Mab01, fantastic old pictures!! You were very lucky with those cars.

Both, the tweed grey Mini and the next in black carried on the rear glass a wiper arm. It came out of the factory with this advance or did you put it on?

There was an aftermarket rear wiper kit available for Minis in the UK back then made by Trico.

However i used to make my own using a modified Mini front wiper motor and rack mounted in the boot under the parcel shelf.

ie. Discard one of the drive spindles and associated tube. Cut the drive cable to length. Mount the spindle below the rear screen and the motor under the parcel shelf

and use a shortened smaller MG Midget type wiper/arm.

Nowadays you could possibly use a compact rear wiper motor taken from some modern hatchbacks in the scrap/car breakers yards?

The only factory fitted Mini rear wiper system that I know of was fitted to the ERA Turbo Mini but I would guess these are now rare and expensive parts?

Links below to a couple of old TMF threads which may also help.

i think one of the project Binky youtube episodes also covers a rear-screen wiper install in some detail

Thank you for the answer. You did a good job in that time. I asked you about the rear wiper because I was surprised to see it specially mounted on your black Mini 1000. In Spain there was only one model that left the factory with that mounted. It was the Mini Cooper 1300 (in December 1973) and it was the most exclusive and expensive model of the firm.
