Shamelessly plagerised from another motoring forum....

 

Looks like none of us will be getting to many / any car shows this spring / summer so lets start a 'virtual' show for the amusement of us all.

Lets see pictures of your Minis at recent (or indeed long ago) car shows and also all those project cars that you always have good intentions of getting finished for the show season but never get round to...

The photo was taken about 18 months ago at Amberley museum Mini day, my Mini is currently in isolation at Mill Road Garage.

 

Hopefully we will all be back in our Mini's soon

Here's mine at the 1988 London to Brighton run at Preston park amongst the fallen trees of the 1987 great storm, and the same car at the end of 2019 at the etype uk coffee and cake meet.

At the last motor show I attended last year in December. Decent collection of Minis and one (rare in SA) Metro.

At the 2014 London to Brighton, this was our first time doing the run. Did well considering there were four of us!

 

 

Needed some help getting home however!

 

 

 

L2B 2015, a couple of overheats but made it there and home under its own power.

 

 

 

L2B 2016, our last (for now) run. No problems at all on this one.

White saloon and the Clubman Estate are still used by us. This was the saloons first outing after major body repairs (sills, headboard and floor repairs, then full respray).



Then the Estate and my first car leading the way on a Mini vs MINI parade at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Sweet ? my white car above was straight out the gun, my painter simply had to remove 3 paint runs... as close as perfect as it will be ?
