Nope.

5/8 front

7/8 or 1” rear

depends on the rear weight.

Hello Gents, I have a predicament. Im switch over to a wilwood pedal box and the bore sizes I can choose from are 5/8, 3/4 & 7/10.

I am running the later rear cylinders which is 3/4 I believe? and up front I will be fitting the KAD 4 pot brakes (7.75s

In my basket I have bought 3 master cylinders. One for the clutch, rear brakes and front brakes. Sizes are that follows

  • Front brakes - 3/4 bore
  • Rear brakes - 3/4 bore
  • Clutch -  7/10 bore

Does all this look up to scratch before I do some wight saving wallet business?

Cheers, and dont worry what im up to lads

What's the Pedal Ratio on these ?

Might want to take that and total Pedal Travel in to account as well.

I'd appreciate that Nick!

MokeSpider, gosh don't throw another variable into the mix! It's the adjustable 6.25 box. I would be afraid of drilling the pedal if needs be to change about the pivot and throw of it. Glad you pointed it out!

Hehehehe,,,,,,

No need to change the Pedal Ratio, but it really needs to be taken in to account when working out M/C Bore sizes.

Perfect, right Ill get them ordered! Appreciate that lads. I read somewhere that manual braking ratio is usually 6:1 where as servo assisted is 4:1, how true that is im not sure but I think I will just send it, when the car goes arse over tit Ill let you know that the pivot point is wrong! Haha,

Cheers, Tom
