I am looking at this compressor to spray my mini with it is sold as a complete setup on gtair.co.uk

Burisch Air Compressor 50L + LVLP Spray Gun + Clean Air Kit, Consumables & DVD

Anyone got one or used one

It gets good reviews and seems a good price (£300inc vat) especially as I can buy it through work and claim back the vat

ive not got that make, but i think they are all kinda the same. Mine looks exactly like that. I have just painted a bonnet for my bmw e61, i used a devilbus gti gun which is HVLP, it was fine.. Ive had mine for about 2 years and it gets used daily. Id say though, if you can put it in a shed somewhere down the garden as they are loud.

Personally I would go for a belt driven compressor, they are massively quieter,

they are not actually much quieter, they just make a less offensive noise... also i think they need a little more maintenance.

I have a belt drive 20 years old now and all I do is change the oil.Piping the air filter to outside seriously reduced the inside noise at the expense of the outside sound. An insulated box quietened this to an acceptable level.Buy quality,I use mine a lot.Steve..

I think I will build a soundproof booth around it on the outside a put it in there when I use it

I knocked summet up from old kitchen worktop & carpet underlay, it was surprisingly effective.

Burisch also do a 90L belt drive for similar money - but without the extras.
