what primer are you guys using to keep suface rust at bay whilst  in storage or generally not being worked on  i can get to the insides of all maor front end panels at the moment so would like to strip back to the metal and get it in primer has to stick well ect i  was looking at buzzweld or raptor epoxy

A Epoxy primer is best, its water resistant.

yes the epoxy stuff is good., i use hp body 989, you can if you want roller it on save spraying it.

realy lol ? if thats the case would be great for the hidden ares inside boxes and channels

Epoxy is very good but if you recoat it outside the window I find that subsequent coats have variable adhesion unless you abrade it.This may be a problem in inaccessible areas.Steve..

I'm looking at doing the same to my shell as I treat some surface rust areas.

Did I read on another post somewhere to use zinc primer? I'll uses epoxy also if this is best.

i have zinc rich primer on any mating faces/panel joins
