Hi guys, 

 

This has probably come up before but i need some help/advice on air filters, i have a 98' Mpi and its running the stock air box with a standard filter from Mini Spares, i can't decide on which filter to get as i have been looking at the K&N cone filter as i do like the sound it makes, but also for half the price is a ram air cone filter? Or do i go with a K&N filter in the original airbox? Whats the best shout? I just really like the sound but at the same time i don't want to make the performance worse?

Get a K & N element for your OE filter box.

I found the induction noise of the cone filter too much after a while and went back to the K&N inside the standard box
