I have a gasless MiG that I have used quite a bit in the past, always done the job but I know a gas machine would be better.

This is my current setup, any recommendations for a replacement MiG welder with Gas?

Thanks

Go on the mig welding forum and the guy from weldequip who sells these is on there and very active, he can normally do a deal on these

I have that welder but paid £360 I think, it's great and my brother who is a fabrication welder by trade rates it.

Where do you get your gas from? Refills or disposable?

same as what i have. they are really good welders, i got mine from https://www.motorsport-tools.com/

I use 0.6mm wire, and it welds really well with c02. If you goto your local car parts place, they usually do bottles for £50 refundable deposit, and £15-20 refill, they last for ages.
