Hi all,
I’m trying to sort my engine bay out while we’re in isolation and am having difficulty finding out what colour my car is. I’ve got a 1971 mk3 850 and I suspect it is/was either Bedouin or El Paso Beige, but no paperwork to confirm this. Pic of the car:

I looked on the forum and this post by rich_959 was helpful!

However in 2013 it had some bodywork done and a respray and I have invoices for Pale Brown N6/N549 Standofleet HS Mix plus thinners and hardener. I’ve found the paint: http://standowin.sta...etail?id=489493

Question is who do I order from? I only want a rattle can as I don’t have any equipment for a proper spray job.

Any help appreciated! Alex

Haha! I should probably say I’m starting to refurb the engine bay so that’s why I need a can of the right colour!

OK, perhaps this is more useful.

I found long ago that it is all rather dark, down behind the engine, so I paint at least the inside of the subframe and below the subframe bulkhead, WHITE.

You should be able to go to any paint supplier (not Halfords ect, but proper car paint supplier), and if you have the paint spec, which you seem to have by the receipt description, you can just ask them for a rattle can and they will make one up for you to your spec. I see that you have a Movac store near you, they should be able to help?

Thanks guys.
Neet Street appreciate your advise on the paint shop that’s really helpful as I’d have probably just tried Halfords!
Will give Movac a call.

And having looked at the links again I’m pretty sure mine was Bedouin with Autumn Leaf interior (which it still has!), so a1970 spec’d car
